What We Believe

We believe in God's radical grace, revealed in Jesus and still at work through the Holy Spirit today. We consider the Bible a living guide, not a rulebook, and we’re shaped by baptism, communion, and authentic community. Learn more.

We are committed to anti-racism and welcoming, affirming, and advocating for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions; people of all cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds; people of all ages and abilities; and people of all social and economic circumstances. 

Christ the Servant Lutheran Church is a Reconciling in Christ faith community. We have gone through a process of prayer, conversation, and education, resulting in a commitment that persons who are LGBTQ+, including clergy, will be welcomed fully into the worship and life of the community as valued members. 

Kids Belong

Jesus tells us that children are the ones who model the way of true faith for all of us. Pastor Muriel Otto, our Children, Youth, and Family Minister, leads programs that channel kids’ imagination, wonder, and play.

Catch the Son Preschool, a valued ministry of our church, provides a Christian, early-learning program for children ages 3 - 5.
