What We Believe at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church

  • We are created and loved by God who unconditionally regards us with grace.

  • ‍God became human in Jesus Christ, who gave his life to save, serve, and love humanity.

  • ‍The Holy Spirit is Jesus’ ongoing presence in the world, helping unfold our lives and actively working to bring about God’s vision.

  • ‍Inspired by God and written by humans, the Bible is the Living Word of God to guide, comfort, and teach us. We don’t take the Bible literally; we take the Bible seriously.

  • We experience the tangible presence of Jesus in the two sacraments of baptism and communion in which we are welcomed into the community of Christ and promised forgiveness and new life.

  • ‍We experience Christ in one another as we stand shoulder to shoulder at communion and as we live out our faith through service in the world.

  • ‍Our whole lives are a response to God’s grace as we worship, learn, serve, love, and seek justice.
