What We Believe at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church
We are created and loved by God who unconditionally regards us with grace.
God became human in Jesus Christ, who gave his life to save, serve, and love humanity.
The Holy Spirit is Jesus’ ongoing presence in the world, helping unfold our lives and actively working to bring about God’s vision.
Inspired by God and written by humans, the Bible is the Living Word of God to guide, comfort, and teach us. We don’t take the Bible literally; we take the Bible seriously.
We experience the tangible presence of Jesus in the two sacraments of baptism and communion in which we are welcomed into the community of Christ and promised forgiveness and new life.
We experience Christ in one another as we stand shoulder to shoulder at communion and as we live out our faith through service in the world.
Our whole lives are a response to God’s grace as we worship, learn, serve, love, and seek justice.
