“Being a part of the church community has always been important to me. In small groups, we really get to know each other beyond the ‘Good morning, how are you?’”

Annual Events

Watch for announcements in the weekly note, bulletin, and monthly newsletter.

  • This intergenerational tea party for Seniors is hosted by our children, youth, and their families. It includes goodies, getting-to-know-you activities, and the ever-popular show and tell.

  • Children and youth act out the Christmas Story with costumes, singing, and lots of joy.

  • All are invited to help decorate the Christmas tree in the Sanctuary. Cookie frosting and decorating adds to the fun, especially for children, youth, and families.

  • Kids ages 5-11 are invited to join us for this summer day camp, complete with Bible stories, crafts, games, and singing. Middle school and high school youth along with adults serve as group and station leaders.

  • Dinner groups are a great way to get to know others. Individuals, couples, and families who sign up are organized into groups of about eight people. Groups typically gather monthly, rotating to each other’s homes for a potluck-style dinner; some may choose to meet at a restaurant. Sign-ups occur in the fall and rotating dinners are usually wrapped up by spring.

  • During Lent, a simple soup and bread supper is served at 6:00 PM, offering an opportunity to connect with each other before the midweek worship service.

  • This fun-filled summer event features burgers, brats, and hotdogs, supplied by the church, with potluck sides, salads, and desserts.

  • At this popular event, 35 to 55 women gather at an off-site retreat center, away from regular stresses and routines. Retreat topics provide an opportunity for spiritual renewal and personal reflection as well as lots of social time, arts and crafts, hikes, reading, and napping!

We welcome all cis and trans women and non-binary people.
